About

A Music Publishers role is to promote the songs their songwriters compose to other Artists, the essential purpose of a music publisher is to promote songwriters works to those who may need songs. To also administer, exploit, and collect royalties for its songwriters. That could be from other writers, film producers, online promotions, radio, tv advertisers, video games and sports events etc. As the Publisher, we issue licenses to protect the legal interests of our writers and collect licensing fees to then distribute those revenues to our writers.

Freeconstruction does all of that. However, we also help our songwriters in other ways. By investing in the areas that writers need in the early stage of their career. This could be staging an event, making a video or recording a song. It could also be mentoring, finding collaborators or skill training to improve lyric writing or chorus construction. But unlike other publishers, all we ask is for our investment be returned if a song generates income. We are songwriter-friendly, we don’t want to profit from these no publishing revenues! That’s the difference! If you would like to know more please email Peter@freeconstructionmusic.com.
